Whats the Key touch like on the Pleomax's - soft ? hard ?
With prices like 250 and 450 I am a little apprehensive about the quality of these keyboards.... I have bought keyboards which cost me 10 times more than these prices ... and they all have given trouble over time .... maybe I should take a chance with these Pleomax's next time.
It does not matter if a 250 bucks keyboard is "durable" as long as the feel of the keys is nice and positive hyeah: In my books even if it lasts 1 year it is "paisa vasool" as my 5k Microsoft Natural Keyboard (fist model of M$ Natural keyboards sold at this price around 1990) lasted me about 1.5 years and my 6k Logitech cordless keyboard lasted me 6 months
The best keyboard I ever owned was the IBM clickity-clack-noisy-as-hell keyboard ..... the keys had the best touch I ever felt - but I accidently dropped a heavy spanner from about 5 feet on the keys after having used it for around 4 years and it got smashed into "kachumber"
I have the logitech navigator keyboard..seems pretty good to me..the keys are noiseless n have a soft touch..more so since it was for 450 bucks only..the extra keys are configurable n the accompanying software is pretty handy.. infact i've got so used to the xtra keys tht going back to normal keyboards will be hard for me..
had seen the pleomax 250 bucks keyboard, n though i agree it seemed pretty good by the looks of it, but it was quiet spartan..so skipped it..
