guys..
i m looking to buy a flat in kaikhali area... the biulding is six storied..and the flat i m looking is in 5th floor...
since kaikhali is near Airport.. i wanted to ask whether there is any restrcition in how tall biuldings should be in that area near airport....
plz giude me on this.. nd.. does anybody have idea how many flights operate in night..??
 
^i am not sure about securities in that region! are you going stay alone of with family? if with family then i am not sure that kaikhali is the best place (security reason)! if alone then doesn't matter much :P
 
what are the security problem there?? iam planning to live in Green Valley phase II .. kol-136... how is that place..?? my father,mother and brother will stay there...is there communal violence there??
 
Bah. Communal violence? In Kolkata? Baguiati and Kaikhali are safe but VERY crowded areas. As for how tall buildings can be, VIP Enclave, near Baguiati has buildings more than 6 storeys high.

@op, if residing near the airport is not a necessity, you can search for flats near peerless hospital/mukundopur bypass.

It depends on the category of the airstrip and the distance and location of the building relative to it. You can ask the civil engineer at the airport about the permissible height of nearby buildings (they should have a contour map of the surrounding area with them).
