The timings of the LAN Party will be from 10 am to 7 pm on all 3 days.
Entry to the expo and LAN Party is absolutely free, but booking a seat on
the LAN Party will be handled on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The LAN Party will potentially host all sorts of games on the 3 days -
from CS to Enemy Territory to Battelfield 2, and so on. The final list of
games to be used will be decided a few days before the event, depending on
the average computer configuration and obtaining the necessary
permissions.
To participate, send an email confirming the same and containing the
following information:
Name:
Address:
Phone:
Email Address:
DETAILED Computer Configuration:
If selected, you will be required to bring your ENTIRE computer (including
power cord, spike strip, etc) to the venue latest by 8 pm on the 6th of
July. Please note that a monitor is NOT required as we will provide the
display (either a CRT or an LCD).
Confirmation of your participation will be provided a week before the
event at the latest. We'll take care of getting the necessary permissions
and licences for the games to be used, so you don't have to worry about
that. Just get all the games you have.
You can leave your computer at the venue. It'll be well-protected by
security guards, so there won't be any thefts. However, you might want to
take back smaller devices like the mouse, headphones, etc for added
security. You're also free to take back the entire computer if you wish.
Remember to bring the spike strip and power cords!
