Budget 51-70k Laptop for casual gaming, work and normal browsing/excel usage

The Acer Predator is good. It has good specs, but Acer gaming laptops frequently suffer from quality assurance issues.

I'd rather suggest getting the HP Omen 15. Comes with almost the same specs (with 1650Ti), except two differences:
  1. Ryzen 4600H instead of Intel i5 10th Gen
  2. 60Hz panel instead of 144Hz
If 144Hz isn't important to you, then getting the Ryzen powered HP Omen makes sense. The Omen has fantastic cooling performance and the Ryzen chip is highly efficient to give you better battery life for day-to-day usage. Costs the same at 70K INR (Amazon).
The HP Omen 15 1660Ti variant costs at 80K INR.

The following two have same graphics card but better processor than the Acer one -

1) Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3, Ryzen 5 4600H, 8GB/512GB SSD/GTX 1650Ti for 63.5k https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08PV3DQCW

2) HP Omen 15, Ryzen 5 4600H, 8GB/512GB SSD/GTX 1650 Ti for 70k https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08CGKP829

There is an HP 'Pavilion' Gaming available with same specs + 144Hz display too, if thats your thing.

Though if you can stretch your budget till 80k, you can also look at -

3) Dell G5 SE Ryzen 4600H, 5600M (~2060 without Ray Tracing) for 75k

or lastly..

4) MSI GF65 Thin, i5 9th Gen, RTX 2060 for 80K https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08699BD7L

How good are the laptop 144hz screens ? That was one of the reason I opted for the Acer model. Used to 144hz screens for about a year , find it snappy for non-gaming use too.

I really don't know. Max I have used is a 75Hz display and it feels smoother when you switch from 60Hz to faster but on daily basis, doesn't make any difference to me atleast.

I have added some more options in my above post, you can look at them too.

You can look at HP Pavilion Gaming with Ryzen 4600H but GTX1650 iirc, if you want to go for 144Hz screen.

The MSI model looks good, issue is there is no zero cost EMI after the 20k discount. Some bug probably

If this doesnt resolve looking at the Dell G5 & HP Omen
@xkcd0137 Which would you recommend between the Dell G5 SE Ryzen 4600H, 5600M & MSI GF65 Thin, i5 9th Gen, RTX 2060

Yup, MSI and Dell G5 seem like the best options processor+graphics wise. But do go through reviews once as every machine has its own set of issues. Look especially for Display or Build issues, if any.

Also, that Core i5 may act as bottleneck for the 2060 (check some online reviews), whereas 4600H is a much better processor. Unless you want Ray Tracing, I feel Dell should be a better bet.. but that seems to have been sold out from both FLipkart and Amazon now.

Edit: Was looking at wrong link. This one is in stock and has 120Hz screen too. https://www.flipkart.com/dell-g5-15...-120-hz-5505-gaming-laptop/p/itmb0f677baffe14 @fLUX

Thanks fort your help @xkcd0137 and @AINDRASIS_GUPTA . Cost difference was not very huge between the MSI GF 65 (I7+16gb) vs (i5 +8gb), just 3k more than Amazon price in Flipkart for the I7 version after all offers applied and while the Dell G5 was very promising the 2060+i7 combo swayed me towards the MSI setup.

Have ordered the below from flipkart

Great choice. I was about to but didn't suggest this one due to higher price, but its the best machine for that money with RTX2060.

Yup it was not visible on Amazon, happened to browse through flipkart and noticed this model. This comes to 86k post discount ,& amazon has the i5 version at 82k, the I7 process + 8gigs of additional ram would certainly cost more at component level comparison.
