Hi guys,

My friend is interested in getting a laptop for home use. He will mostly be using it for watching hi-def movies, some regular games, listening to music, burning DVDs, and doing some pretty simple excel and MS word stuff.

He can even increase his budget to a little extra at MAX 32 to 33k :)

Please suggest us some really good brands and good warranty and after-sales service :)

Thanx a lot in advance. Desperately waiting for a reply :)

Edit: It has to be somewhere in the line of 15 inches. Any smaller and it would be difficult to watch movies and any higher (17") and it would be too bulky to carry around :)

Really appreciate the links and all the help. My friend has postponed buying the laptop for at least 1 month. I will be reading up on all the links above when I get some free time and reply accordingly. Currently very busy with work.
