Looking for a laptop spare - vga chip... I am not sure if it is manufacturer dependent. Dell studio 1558 is my model.
 
look at ebay.com . you will need the exact model number and date code has to match too. Do not buy used or refurb. Buy new ones, will come with some warranty. A lot depends on the person who is going to use the BGA machine to change the VGA chip.
 
my friend is going to change it. he is a h/w professional... If it starts working I will sell it to reglobe. . I was more looking into a temporary chip to fetch some money. without display reglobe is not giving any money
