For one game? Hell no!

I'm managing Bionic Commando: Rearmed in co-op with my brother on the PC using the keyboard, so this shouldn't be much of an issue.
I assure you, this wont be the last game you play. The XBox wired controllers are meant to last. They will surely serve you for a really long time.

Errr....OK! I'm not sure what you meant, but I already have 2 Xbox 360 controllers. One of which, I have had it for close to 2 years now. Unless I get a wireless receiver for Windows, I don't see myself shelling out an extra grand for another wired controller. The main reason being, I don't do much of local co-op on PC. When it's co-op time, I usually shift to the 360. It's just in exceptional cases like these, that I feel the need to have 2 controllers, but I guess a little sacrifice isn't going to hurt me. ;)

LOL.. I meant if you buy a wired controller controller you will surely use it a lot. But you already have two of them.

wOOt should be trying out the game today evening! :P

I guess the new isometric perspective is a welcome change from the usual 3rd person view. The game has received some good praise from reviewers all over. :D

Btw how long is the gameplay time? Will I be able to complete it within friday? :P

I have completed 3-4 chapters within 2-3 hrs on medium difficulty.I have few more may be 4-5 chapter to go.

Please note the game becomes damn tough from the flooded passage level.May be easier for co-op.This game has been made especially keeping the co-op in mind.

i am currently in twisting bridge.

In the single player campaign, how good is the AI for the other player? i.e if I do not opt for co-op.

quite good.Infact i am also playing in single player.Actually its a bit arcade type of game.you will be exposed to a bunch of enemies, single giant tough enemy(like those bosses) or bunch of enemies with that tough enemy. As i have mentioned it becomes a bit tough and challenging from that level. But till now it was quite enjoying.:D
if you ask me till now it felt like its a mixture of legend, anniversary and underworld in isometric view.:D

Very nice! :D

I loved the last 3 titles by Crystal Dynamics. Damn how I wish I could bunk the office and play the game. ):

I'm holding this out for a proper co-op session with my brother. Don't feel like rushing into this game. Too much backlog has piled up...GRRRRR!

But from the first level that I have played, it's fantastic for an arcade title. Very innovative, challenging and way too much fun.

^^yes it seems it has been made for co-op specially.as i had mentioned there is a fantastic level called jaws of death where lara has to run.before running she shouts "run totec" now as a single player there is no totec present therefore it feels a bit weird.

Please note :-Try to find all the red skulls they are hidden in tricky locations.Maximum in each level i was able to collect is upto 8.They unlock special items.

This game has a bit of devil may cry also i mean there would be hidden challenges available for which you have to find a red glowing cave.

Boy this one's awesome! Played for a stretch until now and completed the first 3 levels. :D

The isometric perspective is really addictive. I really wish I had an extra controller so co-op mode could be played with Totec. Now that would be kick-ass!

^Collected all the 10 red skulls in the first 3 stages. Got loads of artifacts, several relics and several weapons although only 2 artifacts, 1 relic and 4 weapons can be used by Lara at any time. The staff is Lara's permanent weapon and cannot be replaced by another one whereas the other 3 slots can be. I've gotten automatic shotgun, the long range rifle, the assault rifle and the flamethrower until now. Ammo's plentiful in the level and they are strewn around everywhere. And so are the medpacks and a fountain which replenishes the health infinite number of times. As for relics, they can be used only when a certain meter is full and this is achieved when Lara defeats enemies without taking damage and collects those diamonds. Once achieved, depending on the relic, each weapon has an advantage. For instance, the assault rifle fires 3 shots at a time instead of one but the moment Lara takes a hit, the power of the relic depletes and one needs to fill the meter again. As for the artifact, they have their own pros and cons. For eg, damage increases, whereas her speed decreases or the defence power decreases.

Those artifacts or relics can be inside those mini challenge levels wherein the entry to the cave glows with a blue light. The challenges are pretty awesome and not so hard either. The movements of Lara are absolutely fluid. No hiccups by far. The grappling hook can be used to swing side ways or slide up and down. The staff can be used to climb up some hard-to-reach places as well.

Damn those spiders, the giant spiders and the mammoth spider were some awesome shit LOL!

This game sure is addictive. Thumbs up to Crystal Dynamics. :thumb:

Don't feel like going to work tomorrow. :|

^^lol yeah.but first few levels are almost easy.Keep on moving.;)wait till you reach fiery of the depths.A certain part of this level had me forced to change the game difficulty to easy from medium.:-[
