Bypassed. But from the discussion, it seems that the same method can be used to bypass all games except those of which are always online.

More than a bypass of Denuvo, this release of the latest Tomb Raider game appears to contain the Holy Grail – a bona fide crack of Denuvo.

But while CONSPIR4CY (whose motto is “Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned) have undoubtedly achieved something amazing in pirate terms, the Denuvo battle is probably far from won.

In any event, optimism is high for more Denuvo titles being released soon.

The loophole that allowed launching of the games has been closed by Steam.
I guess we can say good bye to games which are always online required to play.
Always online is nothing new. Ubisoft did that back with Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.
And there are rumors that Volski was able to bypass Hitman just before the loophole was closed.
