LCD/PLASMA 42"-52" Suggestion needed

With the prices I have currently
Lg Jazz-LG80FR 42" has the best performance in this price range, best pic quality in this range, best VFM in this range
priced at 55K , you mentioned in first page your budget is 40-50K.. its just 5K more
this price is without DVD player diwali offer but you can get 50 movies pack free
also this lg80fr is the best buy in digit magazine some months ago.. one of my friend is using it, he says its awesome for his PS3 and Tata sky looks good on it.

don't have much idea abt lh20 though

well since u are going to watch SD content more and if u do wan't a cheap FULL HD lcd,i would suggest u to go with atleast the samsung 40B530,according to compare india its street price is 53k .
the LG is suited better for HD and gaming,in HD videos pretty much every lcds looks good,it all comes down to the panel used inside.
but for SD content it depends primarly in the image processing,where the samsung is still better then the LG,best being the sony.
for gaming the LG lcd does indeed have edge in input lag due to the ips panel.
but the main drawback is not so great blacks,which results in poor contrast atleast compared to plasmas and lcd based on VA tech like samsung/sony.
about reviews in magzines like digit,chip,av max are some of the worst reviews,withs lots of misinformation,av max actualy thought the samsung LED tv was a new tech:rofl:.chip magazine says that big tv STB is HD ready and comes with a universal remote:rofl:
^^ Finally the OP got the LG PQ60 plasma @ 37.5k with freebies ( 50 movies DVD-Set + Hair Dryer + Travel Bag etc) and is very happy with it for general Airtel DTH viewing and says its better than the LG LED also for general cable/DTH
All is all a great buy I must say at that price....no point for paying 25% more money for Samsung 42AB450 one :rofl:

Yup the Tv is amazing....3 HDMI, 2 component, 1 analog, 2 AV-in, 1 AV out, 1 RF out.... all in all good connectivity...
I watched a couple of full hd movies@1080p, and I was pretty satisfied with the quality...(i am pretty much used to watching HD movies in my 22" full HD lcd...)
Cable quality is good.. i compared the plasma with a LED 42" and from a distance of 5-6 feet the plasma look much better in the airtel DTH...and since my primary purpose (75%) was for dth...i took the plasma
Thanks to Supra who initialy suggested me the PQ series....though i would have been a lot more happier if I could get my hands on the PQ70....
