Lenovo G580. Good buy? Lenovo ASS

Hi,
I am thinking of getting Lenovo g580 from Flipkart or elsewhere.
What are your inputs for this model??
Some people say Lenovo After sales service s not good, but this seems too good a deal to pass away!

the pros mentioned remain even after the 3.5 months of use.
still loving the keyboard and low heat and operating noise among the other pros such as quick awake and startup.

only cons as now is the webcam specially at low light.

i bought one on 3rd Nov, it had an elan touch pad - Googled and saw the horrors. Installed windows and the drivers numerous times but the touchpad is erratic, jerky and times refuses to move. tapping happens on its own. currently locked a call with lenovo for a full refund as i am not keen on an exchange with a new one either
