Does your monitor have any screen fading/brightening issue? I have the same monitor and mine has it. I haven't been able to figure out the cause or whether its a defect. The screen fading occurs randomly and it gets annoying sometimes when you look at bright videos or games.

Nope, never noticed anything like it. Sounds like the auto brightness limiter on my LG OLED TV though. Maybe it's a power saving feature you have turned on in the monitor's OSD?

Make sure that DFC and smart energy saving is disabled
