i take back my word i installed the latest limewire PRO and it didnt crash at all and its even faster. well i guess i too have the limewire band but it doesnt give much results not as much as Torrent searcher though...

No Limewire has never crashed on my PC.In fact this is the first time I've heard of Limewire crashing.Many of my friends use it too,and its definitely the most stable P2P software I've used yet...

I swear by Limewire pro too ,cos its only p2p which gets decent speeds.But it crashes at times and sometimes the downloads dont resume and start from the very beginning.But its better than the rest of the lot imo.And it slows down my pc too at times.

yeah i guess it might be a java problem. I've been using limewire for a long time now n it has never ever crashed. Using LimeWire Pro 4.10.0 now.

Imo, Limewire's network is being destroyed slowly, a lot of fake files, viruses show up everytime when you search something other than popular mp3's.

De-centralized direct user-to-user p2p is suicide.
Torrents are the only way to go.

also,the search shows only cracks and stuff,full search will be filled only with that and some shyt ads also are on the rise.
