I meant the space just right of the thread creator's id. I've attached an image with the red spot.

Its not necessary, but will help to know the age of the thread. :)

'Number of new posts' setting in user Control Panel is on the blink. Acknowledges changes, but makes none.

Is it possible to switch off undesired forum sections from the 'New Posts' search like it used to be before the upgrade?

can we have a part on the homepage dedicated to the best threads..as in the threads which are used the most..

for eg. the universal spec sheet one..

moreover..clicking on the big TE logo on top should result into getting to the homepage..not the forums..

i am not able to subscribe rss feed for market section,rss is working fine for other threads
whenever i try to subscribe page goes blank anybody else facing such problem

Why am I asked "tell us a good rule that we have and why" if I am changing settings in user profile? Isn't the field for new members?

It does that for some reason. Last night even I was not able to, until I filled that field and "tech interest" radio button. Just do -- no big deal.

Now that TE managed to hire a bunch of Mods, could we also hire maybe 1 more admin? Or atleast a half-admin :P (with reduced privileges, I mean)

Enter anything. Doesn't matter for an existing user.

I assume the way vbulletin works makes it compulsory in editing your profile too. Will check with Safin.

Yeah this is because of the new dealer sub-section URL structure. Admins have been notified.

Refreshed lists.

Someone PM'ed me saying they weren't sure what infractions are.

Anyone else with similar queries, let us know so we can add quick FAQs for the same.

Also if anyone has spare time on their hands, feel free to contribute info.
 
Whenever we reply to a thread we can make something bold or italics just by wrapping the text in special tags like [ B], [ /B] etc etc (without spaces). This can be done using keyboard shortcuts, like CTRL+B or CTRL+I. But i have observed these keyboard short cuts don't work in chrome browser. Don't know where the problem lies but just though i should mention here.
 
I'd think a "dislike" option for posts just similar to "like" option can be implemented. Would be useful in discouraging pointless posts.

Pointless posts are supposed to be reported to us and will be deleted.
