^Nice. Did you attempt the custom levels available in the GOTY edition? I found them even better than the storyline. Some of them are genuinely challenging as well. :)

As for LBP 2, for now I've completed Da Vinci's hideout, Victoria's lab and the Factory of a better tomorrow. Aced a couple of chapters as well. Almost 50% through. The side missions are better than the ones that were in LBP 1. Besides, the spawn point has 2x lives compared to LBP 1, which IMO is another good addition. Used to get owned in some levels in LBP 1 and had to restart the level from scratch. :ashamed:
No I didn't try custom levels, now will do and LBP 2 is much easier than LBP 1.....I think game's also very small....

I feel both the games are pretty small. Unless ofc you are behind those bubbles all the while and re-doing all those challenges bettering the score. :)

Try the custom levels and report back.

Craftworld is finally free from the clutches of The Negitivitron. Booyeah! :ohyeah:

Hats off to Media Molecule for the awe-inspiring level design, the kind of creativity thrown into the game and the brilliant soundtracks. Some of the cutscenes were just too hilarious combined with the witty expressions from the NPCs. The addition of the tools such as controllinator, grabinator and sackbots were few good additions to the game.

This title is a pure win with a bunch of players online and offers a lot of replayability value. So long Sackboy. Will wait for the sequel. :)

Started Little Big Planet GOTY yesterday. My very first reaction when I looked at the game was, CUTE! It's great to watch so much creativity flowing in one game. The simplicity of the game's design and beautiful narration style, is a something which is very appealing in this game. I gave my Sackboy an MGS avatar. Initially, I chose Genghis Khan's look, but the outfit was too over-shadowing for the small sacko. Love the way the game is narrated by Stephen Fry. His witty comments and pacing is just what is needed to take you through the game. After playing so many title based on violence and gore, this title feels like a heavenly delight and takes you back to your childhood days. The world in LBP is very refreshing and lively, filled with colours. The character's you encounter only speak via speech bubble. I have only completed 3 levels, but I get the feeling it will keep growing as I progress. :)

The sucker just rose up on it's difficulty level. Got boned a couple of times in 'BOOM TOWN' level of 'The Canyons' area. Tried carrying those impact detonators across the final part of the level & got crushed almost each time I tried to cross those stalactites. :@

How do we know how many lives are remaining? All I see the amount of points we gather from the collectibles.

On a side note, the music in that level was dam funny. :D

Look at the the circle where sackboy spawns and pops out. You should see a white light with the quadrants that keep fading as he dies and spawns. When you are spawned a last time before you die, the white quadrant changes its color to red and sounds a warning note.

Oh yes, I remember that sound. At first I thought, it was indicating that something was going to explode, never knew it would be me. :P

LBP had few levels which were genuinely challenging for a platformer. :ashamed:

LBP 2 OTOH was relatively easy and most of the restart points had 2x lives. i.e 2 concentric circles.

I caught up with a YouTube clip for that level and I just realized this would have been great had I played it in co-op with my brother. I really need to invest in another PS3 controller now. Need to find a good deal on a new controller. 2.8k is way too high. Any-hoo, I'll have to try this level again today. I have 2 more days to complete it before I switch to Crysis 2. :D

This game would be kick arse in co-op mode. There are certain areas in some levels which can only be played in co-op. Unfortunately for me, an additional controller would be a waste since my roomie isn't very promising when it comes to games these days. That X360 controller he had gotten few months back is in the stash now catching dust. :|

Son of a b**ch! Really having a difficult time with that stupid 'Wheel of Death' in the Bunker level. Any tips? :(

I'm able to get through to it's first checkpoint, but after that, the second layer is turning out to be really difficult.

Finally! Completed the game. The last boss was a complete panzy. Didn't restart 'The Collector's Layer' level even a single time, had some close calls though. The wheel in the Bunker level was definitely the worst in the entire game. Fantastic game indeed. What I really loved though was the variation in level design and the background score, simply marvelous. Will certainly complete LBP2 after some time. :)
