Finally got my hands on the G5 Pro, and I immediately felt a huge difference in this controller while compared to my Dualsense or XBox controllers.
It doesn’t feel cheap and brittle even though it’s made in China. It weighs the same as a Dualsense.
Hall Effect sticks are a major improvement compared to the Analog ones I have been using my entire life.
The buttons have a tactile feel to them, and it’s a much more enjoyable experience than other controllers I’ve tried in the past. The buttons feel and sound really nice, and that’s something you can understand only when you use this controller.
It has 5 modes- Android, Switch, PC/iOS, 2.4G and wired. Its wired mode can be used while connected to the switch while docked as well.
The trigger buttons are rigid, and the additional buttons behind are easily accessible.
The lighting effects can be turned off, but they have a cycle, static, rainbow, strobe and breathing mode.
It comes in black as well, but I went with white as it matches my setup.
I feel like they could have given adaptive triggers, since I enjoy it, but it’s not a deal breaker, more of a personal preference.
I got it for 3.7k on Amazon, and I feel like it’s one of the best controllers I’ve used till date
