The IGN Review is out. IGN gives the PS3 version a 7.0 :|

Not that it would effect my opinion about the game but I was still expecting a higher score. Here's hoping the PC review score is somewhat better.
 
Actually if you read through it, you'll realize just how lame the review really is. Graphics are never mentioned in the review, not even once plus the reviewer is bickering about how linear he felt the gameplay to be. Hell, Mafia is supposed to be linear. That is what distinguished the orignal from GTA and made it special. Also, if you add up the individual scores, the final score should be 7.5 and not 7.0 :| I was expecting a well written detailed 4 page review from IGN but they totally blew it off.

I've seen that the quality of reviews/rating and other stuffs have went very low in IGN. I mostly prefer reading Gamespot! :)

Game Informer and PC Zone UK have rated them 9/10 at Gamespot.. Wait for some more time. Surely this gonna be a kickass game! With just Rs. 499 as the cost and better optimization than GTA 4, this game will be sold like hot cakes! :P

Mafia 2 is rated 8.5 by Gamespot and 7 by IGN. Like I already said nowhere in the league of GTA IV. But I will play it anyways when I get a good graphic card.
 
Just started playing the game. Runs amazingly well on Full details @ 1680x1050 on a GTX 275 and a i7-930 4.2ghz system (PhysX is set on Medium though). Graphics are superb, so is the gameplay. Missions are more or less linear, unlike GTA. Overall loving every bit of it. Will buy it once it's here with Prashaant/NextWorld.
