Read in yesterday's paper's that Honda is facing shortage in spares due to which they are rolling out cars at a slow pace.

Coming to the OP's point.. if you build superior parts they are going to cost u more, coz they are superior. When u want something durable you should not compare it with something that costs peanuts. Decide if you want a cheap car or a good car and then buy.

And to answer your question about servicing fees.. My ANHC has gone through 6 services and none of them went beyond 500/- except the one where they changed the engine oil. I dont drive the car much and maybe that is why the lower servicing cost.
 
Honda Brio is definitely a better option. It comes with a 1.2l 88bhp engine which is a spirited performer yet fuel efficient. It ll also have a good resale value being a Honda

You got very good car Maruti Ritz its reliable and handling is awesome and its maintenance and service cost is also low as compare to any other brand one more thing if you getting cheap part the why are you worried about it you should be happy that maruti parts are cheap and easily available.
