yup there are limitations , i can't use video shooting mode while using MMC card .
MMC card is damn slow ...........n it takes hell lots of time while browsing pics in camera & also transfering files to computer , while SD card does the job quickly .

SD/SDHC also has different classes/standards with different speeds.
Class 2: 2 MB/s
Class 4: 4 MB/s
Class 6: 6 MB/s

The one I got first was class 2 8GB, later got one Claa6 4GB.

I got myself a 2GB SD card(Sandisk) for 250/-.
Actually wanted a 4GB, but due to Sunday limited shops were open, so bought what I got.
Also, bought a camera pouch for my digicam.

Installed the card into the camera, LCD shows a pic. quantity of 993, this seems fine!

Im reviving this old thread as the 2 GB Sandisk SD card Im using is a bit slow in capturing pics.
I was interested in upgrading to 4 GB SDHC Class 6 or SDHC Extreme.
Im getting the 4 GB SDHC Class 6 for 500/ bucks
& SDHC Extreme 4GB for ~ 1100/-

Both are Transcends, but not getting any warranty.
Are these prices ok, or do I need to bargain hard?
