I'd love to see that too. Got my arse handed in the normal mode. But more than this dude, the fight with Monsoon's body double took me some time with just 2 repair kits left.

Never saw this post actually I found monsoon to be so irrating that I was about to leave the game the same thing when u meet the first boss that dog apart from that I found it easier not sure why
 
Me and Allwyn found some of the parts really hard on the regular difficulty. And you were finding this genre i.e. hack-n-slash hard since GOW III. Since you claimed that you were able to finish the title a second time on the hard difficulty, we found it a bit hard to take it. No offense to you though!

Hmmm..thanks for the info. Actually i was going through the review of ascension and at ign they suggested to play this game instead of gow.

:p That's the first thing people said to me when I said to them you know I'm still bad at hack and slash I'm having hard time with ascension but don't know which breed is this revengance :cool: You carry the red sword in your second playthrough and all items and upgrades

Oh wait until you reach Chapter 28 and let us know when you've cleared it. ;)
 
That patch is very small and as it doesn't have any effect on the difficulty. It patches the trophy name 'Bros before Hos'.
 
Metal Gear Rising gets Jetstream Sam DLC coming to XBLA & PSN April 9th

Konami has been teasing DLC for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance for some time now. First, the publisher released some new VR missions, and it looks like fans of the Platinum Games-developed action title will be able to step into the shoes of the villainous Jetstream Sam beginning tomorrow.

"Embark on Sam's journey & learn his origins in the Jetstream Sam DLC for #MGRising coming to XBLA & PSN April 9th!" tweeted Konami.

No word on the pricing for the DLC just yet, though you can expect it to land on both Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network tomorrow.

I just reached the final fight so hoping it saves properly , the DLC is hardly more than 1 hour.
 
and we have Platinum Games making it's PC debut with Metal Gear Rising Revengeance being announced for PC.

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance confirmed for PC

Super action game Metal Gear Rising Revengeance will release for PC, Konami has confirmed.

Series creator Hideo Kojima made the announcement on the latest episode of Hideradio, published on Kojima Productions' Hideoblog.

JP Kellams, creative producer at developer PlatinumGames, confirmed the news on Twitter but declined to offer more information. A release date is yet to be announced. We've contacted Konami.

The action game launched on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 earlier this year. This PC release marks developer Platinum's debut on the PC.

In 2010 Metal Gear Solid: Rising was announced for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but when it was re-revealed in 2011 after development duties transferred from Kojima Productions to Bayonetta developer Platinum, the PC version was absent from the game's list of platforms.

At Gamescom last year Kojima Productions creative producer Yuji Korekado said Konami would consider a PC version after the release of the console version.

"Right now, honestly, we are doing our best to complete at the same time the PlayStation 3 version and the Xbox 360 version," he explained. "For the PC version, we will contemplate making it or not once we reach this goal of completing the PS3 and 360 versions."

Completed the first chapter. I don't understand how the rating system works here. I am playing on hard mode and i do think on few fights i was almost clean with less damages. Still i am getting C.:confused:

Hard mode? Good luck my friend! You will need it. During the later boss battles.
 
^^ Lol thanks.:D I am excited about the boss battles mainly. Its been long i have played any good hack n slash. Hope it lives by the expectations.
