Next MGS!!!

No word on exclusivity, but the sound of playing as raiden again puts me of a little!! lol

Oh well i'll still play it, im guna buy an XBOX soon aswell as my PS3, just for Left 4 Dead!!!

(Ino Ino, dont start the insults about me buying a Xbox, ano ive been so Anti-Xbox!! but i dont care anymore! =]) lol

Its still not confirmed :)

we will have to wait till PS3 conference...if there's another game for PS3 then Raiden is exclusive for 360...

I guess Kojima-san is trying to tell the story of raiden & big boss thru different games and it's highly impossible for him to keep raiden exclusive to 360 as his core gamers are PS gamers. and hence tehre wud be a story discontinuance for PS owners/MGS followers...Kojima wont force them to buy a 360 to play Raiden's part of story :no:

Hideo Kojima has unveiled Metal Gear Solid: Rising for Xbox 360.

The game, which apparently stars Solid Snake's mate Raiden, is said to be "a totally new Metal Gear experience", says Kojima - but not a word was mentioned on exclusivity.

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., announced today that Metal Gear Solid: Rising is currently in development for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft - the first Metal Gear Solid game to launch on the Xbox 360. Raiden, one of the most popular characters in the Metal Gear Solid universe, will star in the all-new title from Hideo Kojima. Raiden first debuted in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty PlayStation2 computer entertainment system as a playable character and appeared as a non-playable cyborg in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for the PLAYSTATION3 computer entertainment system.

"The Metal Gear Solid series is one of the most highly acclaimed video game franchises of all time," said Anthony Crouts, Vice President of Marketing for Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. "With Metal Gear Solid: Rising, the Xbox 360 community will finally get a chance to enjoy the action and excitement that this popular franchise is known to offer."

Metal Gear Solid: Rising is scheduled to be released on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system.

Its not exclusive,if it was..MS would have blown the house regarding the announcement...Its coming on the PS3 as well!!!

Metal Gear Solid: Rising Destined For Xbox 360, PS3, PC

Hideo Kojima sneaked onto stage at Microsoft's E3 2009 press briefing today to let the world know that the Metal Gear Solid series was coming to the Xbox 360. That new game is definitely multi-platform.

Since Microsoft didn't make mention of Metal Gear Solid: Rising being exclusive to its console, we had a pretty good indication. Even better is the Gamespress information for the newest, Raiden-starring Metal Gear Solid, which is listed for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The release date is still TBA.

OK read this now......

Game is not developed by Kojima..he is not the director....he is only a producer..he is not working on it...

No Solid Snake in the game....his story is over with MGS4

Its not Stealth espionage action....it says lightning bolt action only...its a Hack n slash version of MGS....i think?......We have to w8 and see.....

PC PC PC PC PC...please have not been able to play MG since I played MG solid on the PS1...man it was a nice game.

I think its going to be a GoW/DMC style hack and slasher instead of stealth action! Snake is not going to be in it (maybe a cameo), and its multiplatform and is not considered to be the next big progression after MGS4, more like a spinoff!

The VGA 2011 trailer aired live during the show but it appears most YouTube links have been taken down due to copyright violations. There's one I could find in the link below (please bear with the initial stupid ad!) and it puts Ninja Gaiden Sigma to shame! :P

Platinum Games, that's all I need to hear. I'll ignore the MGS title and consider it as some fresh new game. :D
