Tried it and it works.
Hope the game doesn't get delayed any further then it is right now.
[h=1]Metro: Last Light release date narrowed, Limited Edition pre-order bonuses revealed[/h]Metro: Last Light will be launching March 2013, THQ and 4A Games have confirmed. The game will also see a Limited Edition version launching simultaneously, which includes ‘Ranger Difficulty’ and other goodies. Check out the details below.
Eurogamer reports that the Limited Edition release will include a harder Ranger Difficulty, as well as a new Ranger load-out, which includes bonus military-grade ammo to use or spend as currency, and an AKS-74U rifle.
The Limited Edition will be the only edition available initially – presumably coming at the same cost as standard – so these are first come-first served goodies. THQ is advising anyone who wants them to pre-order the game.
i hope every company learn a lesson from this... once you release new game you should give the old game freely, or at very low prices say, $1
METRO Last Light (Limited Edition) up for pre-order from flipkart.com --> Metro Last Light (Limited Edition) -: Flipkart.com.
I'm thinking of pre-ordering just for Ranger mode, but that red patch on the box-art kinda spoils it for me.
Currently the fate of this game and Company of Heroes 2 hangs in a balance, I say grab it as it stands.
True, there was news all over about THQ's IPs getting auctioned. I hope at least the Metro IP stays with the devs though.
Near-future shooter Metro: Last Light will ricochet onto UK shop shelves on 17th May 2013, the game's new publisher Deep Silver has announced.
That's three days after the US date of 14th May.
Metro: Last Light was originally due in March, back under the stewardship of defunct publisher THQ.
Deep Silver bought the publishing and IP rights to the franchise last month in an auction of THQ assets.
"The new release date is the ideal way to strike the balance between bringing the best out of Metro: Last Light and not keep the fans waiting longer than necessary, said Dr. Klemens Kundratitz, the boss of Deep Silver parent company Koch Media.
We won't leave that time unexploited and will work closely together with 4A Games to make the game even better. It will receive all the attention it deserves. Deep Silver sees Metro as another big tentpole franchise for the company, which recently also earned sales success with Dead Island. Since it has been made public that we took over the Metro franchise, the fans keep asking for a release date. We would like to thank all of the Metro fans for their patience. And we can assure them that we have a lot more coming their way with the franchise."
