:thanks!: to everyone for the suggestions on my post last year.

Want to build a rig now FINALLY. My budget is 35k max..

Wondering if I should wait for ivy bridge but think they may be too expensive..

Well, here goes..

le template..
1. Q: What is your budget?

Your budget is less for full fledge config, I'd suggest it to increase it, how, see below.

AMD phenom II 1055T ~ 8000

Asus M5A97 ~ 6200

Corsair Valu select 1333MHz ~ 1200

Sapphire HD6870 ~ 11400

WD Caviar blue 250GB ~ 3800

Asus 24x Sata black DVD ~ 1100

Seasonic SII 520w ~ 3800

NZXT Source elite ~ 2300

BenQ G2222HDL ~ 7600

Logiteck MK200 ~ 700

Total = 44,000.

With this config you can do all your tasks along with 1080p gaming, otherwise you will have to compromise on graphics card. You can go for either 7750/7770 and save a more on PSU.

And an Intel config would seriously overshoot your budget!
<

Intel i5 2320 ~9500/-[Beats AMD's CPU Lineup convincingly and consumes less power than amd X6 proccy]

Intel DH67BL-B3~5400/-

Corsair Xms3 4GB-1400/-

Segate 500GB HDD-4000/-[it's better to get 500gb hdd for 4k than 250gb]

HD7750-7000/- OR HD7770-10,000/-

Seasonic S12ii 520W-3770/-

Nzxt Gamma ~2600/-

Benq G2220HD-6900/-

Combo Logitech K200-700/-

This config is better than above and consumes less power,op should go for this config,You'd have to compromise on the gpu due to tight budget.

If op is strictly on 35k budget then he should go for i3 2100-6200/- and rest the same.

Hope this helps.
<

#[member='Jakob'] I hope you're not trying to do competition with me
<

btw where is G222HDL available for 6900/-, gamma for 2100/- PSU for 3600/- ?

No competition here, just sharing the right rig that op needs,it's good to know rates have come down, recently gamma was up @ 2500/-

Do you even saw that shipping charges for G222HDL is a whopping 550 ? I guess we should mention prices inlcuding shipping.

All your three items totaled an error of 600+500(gamma)+200(PSU) = 1300/-

If the 2100 for gamma was a typo, I must make you remember that you even mentioned same price in dhruv's config thread.

Well we can't include shipping charges as op is gonna get the items straight from lamington road as i've given theitwares links which is @lamington.So there will be no shipping charges maybe i made a typo in dhruvs config as well, hope this clears things.

Hey thanks, Jugga and Jakob.

"Epic win" moment when two members have a little tussle so I can get the best recommendation.

Thought it out a bit and came up with this from your inputs.

Processor Intel i5 2320 9500 Motherboard Intel DH67BL-B3 5400 RAM RAM Corsair XMS3 CMX4GX3M2A1600C9 ~1450 HDD Segate 500GB HDD 4000 GPU Monitor BenQ G2222HDL 7600 Cabinet NZXT Source elite 2300 PSU Seasonic SII 520w 3800 Key Board Combo Logitech K200 700 Mouse ODD Samsung\ LG etc 950 Total 35700

This is crossing 35k without GPU
<
.

If I choose an i3 2100-6200/- , it reduces the overall cost marginally..

Was wondering....

Maybe a lower AMD black edition with a GPU around 7-8k (preferably unlockable 1
<
) should balance the cost...

I dont think it should hurt too much to play games on 720 p resolution...
<

Also, The HDDs that you both have suggested... are they 3gbps sata or 6gbps sata?

and whats the cost difference between 1333 MHz and 1600 MHz RAM??

Thanks again
<

Black edition CPUs are just 500 bucks cheaper than phenom II 1055T, that's why I suggested later. You can go for a 7750, it will manage 720p but with no/less eye candies. 1333MHz will cost 300-400 bucks cheaper, and performance difference is not much, so if you have got the money to throw, you can go for it, or save it. HDDs should be 6GBps.

wouldn't it be a little more wiser to what Ivy from Intel and watch what Nvidia has to offer though AMD is already out with its offering, as OP has stated no final upgrades for the next 2-3 years atleast?

Go for the i3 2100 it'll give you better performance and lower power consumption than amds X4,the Segate 500gb-4k hdd is sata 6gbps thats what you should get.

The i3 does seem to be a good option but I wonder if it's gonna be future-proof considering the fact that it is a 2-core processor..
<

Also, Is there any way to overclock the i3 2100?

Considering abracadabra's suggestion... Is there a possibility of a dip in price of the sandy bridge processors once the ivy bridge ones are launched?? (apr 8th i think)
<

Regarding GPU

Mostly the 7750 seems good. Incase I can slightly raise the budget further, may go for 7790. Although Kindly suggest which brand is better... I have no clue regarding that..

Do I still need a seasonic s|| 520 w for 7750?
<

Thanks

I won't suggest you to g for i3.

You can go for Corsair cx430v2 for 7750 or even 7770.

this is the best you can buy in your budget, don't go intel in your budget,it will just be a waste.the i3 2100's performance gap can be closed with about 400 MHz oc easily possible with the stock cooler.also in the mobos price range you will get only h61 chipset which doesnt have sata 6gb/s.so this is the most cost effective solution.you can compromise on the gpu as you like.

hey guys,

just met with an accident yesterday.. lol

talk about bad luck ..AGAIN...

well, il buy the comp next week...

have thought of buying everything other than the gpu first.. thanks to cash constraints.

may buy the GPU after a month...

Is there an i3 2100 K version?? and is it available in mumbai???

This is what i have thought of for now..

Intel i3 2100

Intel DH67BL-B3

RAM Corsair valu select or XMS 3 4gb

Segate 500GB HDD

sapphire ati hd 7750

BenQ G2222HDL

NZXT Source elite

Seasonic SII 520w

Combo Logitech K200

Samsung\ LG etc ODD

Does this mobo support 6GBps?

Its around 32350 without GPU...

Please suggest regarding the i3 2100 k and mobo that supports overclocking..
<

else CPU-amd fx 4100 also looks like a good option... as Sudhanshu123 suggested...

WOW..I'm confused...
<

thanks everyone .
