I am currently using Samsung Star S 5233,now m thinking of changing my mobile.I have a budget of 18k cannot exceed further,I am thinking of Samsung S duos or BB curve 9380,But now HTC Desire X is also coming so,i wanted to know if HTC desire X is better option against other because it's a dual core & also when it will be avialble in market.

Anywho. HTC Desire X is worth waiting for if they announce it in your price range (not sure about the front cam in this one). But one phone which has suddenly become complete VFM is Samsung Galaxy S Advance; ever since they announced JB update for this phone. If you browse hard you can get it for 18.5K (I saw a listing on ebay couple of days back for 18.6K). So once it gets the JB update it'll be quite a future-proof phone!

No point in waiting for desire X if it will be priced at ~18k. Get the galaxy S advance, it has almost everything that the desire X is sporting plus super amoled. It can be had for 17.5k. Go for it!

And it will get the 4.1.1 jb update for sure!

If the Advance is really getting the JB update then it is a great buy because the processor is vastly superior to the Desire X. But has anybody seen an announcement from Samsung, India about it?

Yeah S advance will surely get a direct JB update skipping ICS. Samsung (International) have released the list of phones that will get JB update which includes Advance but no dates specific

But again what about its network problems (Open Samsung official site-> S advance -> User reviews and u will get to know abt it) ?
