LGA775 has support for DDR2 as well as DDR3, based on the chipset. Hence that would not matter.

I have a MSI P43-C51 and an Intel X48 in excellent condition. Let me know if interested. Location bangalore.

Try for x38 chipset then; has best ddr2 platform for LGA775.
