Some advantages : (why I recommended this motherboard to my friend in past for Pentium D)

1. By default it supports 533 MHz FSB CPUs. So those of you who have older CPUs like P4 3.06GHz, Pentium D , i.e. older pin-less CPUs, just grab it. Gigabyte G31 motherboard (800/1066 FSB only) won't readily recognise these CPUs.

This one will. 533/800/1066 FSB

2. Very good design. Nothing will come in way of huge PCI-E gfx card. ATX mobos have this benefit.

3. All HDD / CDrom connectors clubed together IDE + SATA

4. 4 memory slots.
