Hmm that's why it was taking forever to charge. Any microusb wall charger will do fine. I have an old HTC charger of 1.2 A and a Samsung charger of 1A, both should do the job.
 
@Decius - Considering the fact that i already have a LG 500mA wall charger and i will receive a motorola 500mA charger with moto G, do i require to buy a new charger ?
Will it be worth the expense ?

Yes it does make sense. The charger that comes with Indian Moto G is crap anyways. Basically the 500 mA charger will be very slow charger will charge at speeds similar to the USB port charging, so unless you are okay with very slow charge and long charging time, I would suggest get a separate charger (1A or higher). I myself use my Nexus 7 charger which is 2.1A and I am also getting one multiport USB charger from US. So all in all Yes it is a good idea to invest in a decent charger. :)

It takes about 2 hours for fully charging from 15% to 100%. I usually start charging my fone once it goes to 15% or below.

I havent checked the exact timings though, could be lesser. I will time it next time I charge and let u know.

I concur. I too use Nexus 7 charger and it takes around couple of hours to reach 100%
 
What do you guys think of the newly released XOLO Q1100 almost similar in specifications and price to MOTO G? Indiatimes shopping has a 16% discount offer valid only for today (18th FEB 2014 )
