Green lens and red lens actually..

The moto defy models come with two internal variants..

One with red lens.. This better and moto has provided libs for it run on GB.. So its supported

Other is green lens.. This does not have libs to work on GB.. thus the functionality is limited like no 720p recording..

Red and green lenses can be differentiated by looking at them under direct light.. They shine with their respective colors.

Oh no! seems I'll be stuck with a Defy with green lens as well, just bought the defy from the seller 2 days back and called him to confirm manufacture month. he didn't have June 11 stock- only August 11 stock with him.
 
i don't think it matters anymore as what i've heard is that the new GB Custom ROMs sup[port both the Green & the Red Lens!!!!!

True, but the green camera module doesn't do 720p video, also the official GB ROM for defy plus won't be compatible with the green lens.
 
Got my defy yesterday, and guess what? It has the red lens. Aug 11 manufactured. Yippee and that too from the same seller! :D
