Android Motorola Moto E specs leaked ahead of launch

I got it yesterday. Its basically stock android with the bare minimum apps. Performance however is pretty smooth. Surprisingly, the phone looks much better than the pics. If you give the phone to somebody who are not aware of Moto E, they will definitely say its a 15-18k range phone. The display is really good too.

From the quality and viewing angles, I definitely think its IPS. I'm not yet using it with my number so can't comment on battery life - may be after coming weekend. But airplane mode uses very little battery, a whole day uses only 15% (exploring the on board apps, listening to music, trying a lot of wallpapers etc). Since it features only dual core processor with a bit lower resolution with almost same battery from Moto G - I think it should easily last 2 days in moderate use. Will report back here once I start using it as my primary phone. :)

Placed order for Moto E within one minutes of its sale and received it on 16 May,waited 4 days to get a new SIM for it and after day's use my Moto E has got broken screen from top right corner.Funny part is that i haven't yet removed the dust or screen cover from it.:banghead::banghead::banghead:
Now dont know what to do ,wheter to contact Flipkart for replacement or go directly for RMA or whatever from Motorola.
Joy lasted for single day.:(
Thank's Moto.

This phone is damn good for the price. Had ordered one on d day of launch for soon to be mother in law. I like the phone just too much. Its simply baap of everything VFM stands for now...

Broken screens are hardly covered under warranty. You can try making a call to flipkart saying you are not happy with the phone, as it is heating up too much, and ask for replacement. Do not say a word about broken screen. When the person comes to pick it up, pack it nicely and give. 90% chances that you would get the replacement without worries.

Gave a call to FK and said about broken screen,CC person said it would be replaced outright with a new one as soon as stock is available.Yesterday got a email saying replacement is shipped.:)

Guys, I don't want to spoil the happiness of the enthusiast buyers but, Just look at its SAR. 1.7 which is on the higher side. I did not buy just because of this.
Apparently I checked that all Motorola models are high on Sar.

Was this broken in transit or was it a user damage? If FK is replacing a broken screen E for user damage then it is quite pleasant CC.
