Mtnl Broadband Frequent Disconnection

I'm having terrible disconnections since yesterday the internet just goes off and does not comes off unless i reboot modem

Check this forum. A member posted something about BSNL and how he stabilized his connection. There is a dedicated thread he had put up. In last couple of months only.
Something related to changing a setting in the modem.

He maybe talking about G Dmt/Lite but the problem seems totally from exchange.

Been facing this problem too for a few months. Found a temporary solution to reset the reboot.
Everytime your ADSL and Internet lights go off, pick up your mtnl phone and type a few numbers till you see the ADSL light flashing and then immediately put the phone down. Et voila, both lights will come on and you'll be connected..for sometime Atleast
