MTNL capped rapidshare ?

Ive used two different connections and i dont get more than 50kb/s transfer rate on rapidshare (i have premium account) when both the connections are 1mbps and 2mbps.

Also the connection is sluggish works for 5 mins then doesn't and after some time comes back again.

Had this problem from couple of days.
 
Me too.I can barely manage 50KBps.Most probably an RS issue rather than mtnl capping downloads.

Would like to hear from RS premium users using other ISPs.
 
RS download got back to normal now.Was working insanely slow yest.hardly 30kBps

Edit : Nope hardly 20kBps now.Had checked in morning was working fine. Was getting 130-140 kBps on 1mbps plan.

I meant that when downloading stuff from RS it gives option to select one of the many locations like

Telesonara
Deusche Telekom
Teleglobe

and such.

On a personal front i select Deusche Telecom and even being free user it gives me super speeds (not tested recently though)

People always tend to shift away from rapidshare but unfortunately all major hindi 720p and 1080p movies are listed on rapidshare
 
during morning and afternoon times, i get around 120kBps on a 1 MBps plan. But as evening comes the speed reduces to 50 and by night fall to 10-20 kBps. I am a free user, and might assume that the traffic increases on free servers as the other side of the world starts waking up.

Just tested Deutsche Telekom too.

Pathetic speeds for me too on wget (2 mbps connection, speeds only ~10kbps)

Finally there are people with me who are having the same problem

The problem becomes more serious when I alone face the problem alone
 
Getting only 10kBps on Rapidshare on 1mbps :( . Torrents are working fine though , getting full speeds /
 
thing that is irritating me is that i get more than 2mbps in speed check and when i download i get 25 kb/s :@

ive been wanting to download 3 720p rips and gta 4 episodes from liberty city but that will take ages with this transfer rate :S
