Do you mean MTNL will allow migration from existing plan to any other Unlimited plan just BY CALLING THEM :O

Yes. Only you need to call from the same number on which u want the plan to be changed.

this ain't gonna help. They have faced much more heat of similar kind and have survived.
Keep the agenda as taking to Consumer Court, then I am IN.

Thank you for your negative mentality and for your conditional support.
So if you are taking care of the consumer court formalities, we will gladly let you lead and extend our support to you. :)
All we expect is some support- we only need some signatures.
Least one can do is help and not be negative on this.
We were going to send individual letters but thought more signatures with maybe tel. no to prove existing subscriber will add some more weight to our requests. :)

Those who cannot be hopeful of a positive outcome do not deserve the good things that may follow and are only jinxing things for others who genuinely need this to be done.

I ma quite sure you don't know how MTNL works.
No wonder you suggest to speak to some head who is mostly kinda helpless in this matter.
AFAIK, nothing hapens in MTNL unless it gets an approval from the centre.
But that doesn't mean what you suggested hasn't been done already.

It's simple economics- not regionalism.
Please don't use theory of relativity to make pudding.

Not against Delhi- am glad someone is getting good rates if not me.
I am not saying raise Delhi rates- we want lower rates for Mumbai whichis not an unfair demand by nay means imho.
More than 3-4 times the rate for us for the same service will sound ridiculous to even a baby.

Letters do work wonders many-a-times; just that most don't have the time or take theeffort to do so..
I have had and also have heard of some good experiences.
Most of the times, the authorities higher up have no idea or are least bothered to do something for areas/constituencies that are not beneficial to them.
Don't we always hear ministers doing so and so for their constituencies or where they stand for elections from- ever heard much of what they did for the city they live in.

Bikey will have a heart attack now all this happened without a campaign
Look who's talking.
I didn't have an heart attack but someone surely feels "Oh so Fisted!!" right now.:P
Since you were even hopeless in this matter, i hope you will stay away from MTNL even if they start unlimited BB for free.
And FYKI, we are still pondering on further activity as 999+Taxes still works out much more than what it may cost in Delhi. :cool2:
Thanks to spineless people in this country who cannot distinguish between right/wrong and stand up for what's right, even if it doesn't translate into material gains for self but for the betterment of society, we cannot rule out further attacks to our beloved motherland aprt from the corruption and lawlessness prevalent everywhere.
Jai Hind- someone's @$$ got pinned.

Well good news but definitely not great though...

I am still stickin to 849 NU.. unless the 256 gives 2 mbps... which i doubt it wil..

WTF its doesn't make sense for 999+taxes...Atleast they should have made it inclusive of all taxes...

bikey i had posted in ur thread for sending a mail to comm minister A.raja...Am yet to receive reply...Also TRAI mail address is invalied...

damn even though MTNL has reduced the rates but me still sticking to my 590NU..coz i cant imagine my DL speeds coming down drastically from 200KB/s to just abt 20-30KB/s :(

sorry but call on which number? I don't have outgoing facility?
Do you mean calling on 1500/1504 :)
You have to call 1500 to get the plan changed but the change is implemented form the next month so you should call before 1-1-09

But MTNL advertised (declared) that plan migration only available from 1-1-09? :S

Methinks you should stick to that plan like a leech. They don't give it anymore and are stuck with those who took it when they did. So you can't go back to it later if you feel the need to do so.
Wait till they come out with something that makes it really worth your while to change.

well bikey I didn't meant sarcasm.
How short tempered you are try some yoga could be good for you.
Well I didn't take part in signature campaign coz I didn't believed in it and already had TCL BB, though I mailed to MTNL delhi and mumbai's nodal officers, MidDay and many others mumbai newspapers.

I am already getting 256kbps UL@750pm so no plans to move to MTNL.
