I am from MUM but ya my speed too is double wat m supposed to get..still flying high on 2mbps speeds even though the plan changed to 1mbps unlimited
No doubts MTNL rules.. or maybe they're just too lazy to set the actual speed..Anyways all i am doing is "Making hay while the sun shines" :bleh:

All airtel folks call the customer care and demand double speed else give dhamki of leaving airtel and joining MTNL bandwagon

Scenario:
2 years back, thanks to a cross connection and MTNL's sweet time to fix it they charged me with a bill of around 5.5k. Tried to reason with them but it was fruitless. Frustated I didn't pay the bill and switched to Tata Indicom. At that time I was using Sify for Inernet and later switched to Airtel.

It is promotional plan and will be offered for a month from 01/03/2010 to 31/03/2010. Plan change also will be allowed only during this period.

Migration allowed. No monthly CPE charges as it is a combo plan.

Glad to hear this, i hope this change will be permanent w/o any increase in price I am on 599 plan and getting speeds of 999 plan.
