@ raksrules - even i tried the script, and earlier it didn't work, but now its working. that is probably because, like you, earlier i had put the TST10 folder in another partition of my HDD, deep within some folders. when that didn't work, i moved the folder to the root of 'C' (the partition with the OS files on it), and voila! try this, if you haven't yet.

P.S. - My router is Beetel 450TC1 (the MTNL one).

Thanks, Ethan_Hunt, for sharing about the script and the video on it!!

UPDATE: After doing this, am realising that i probably don't need to use this auto-reboot script, as, even 'raksrules' had pointed out in some earlier post here, there's no speed-bump for me at 0000 hrs. it takes place near 1800 hrs. while testing the script, i was already getting a speed of 2.25 Mbps, as per speedtest, and now after the reboot, at 0011 hrs, its 1.34 Mbps; so you see, its a very erratic behaviour here. the evening speed-bump mostly takes place well past 1800 hrs (close to 1900 hrs), and only a very few times at the scheduled hour. and even for that, i need not reboot the router; happens on its own.
