I would suggest first finding out the problem part.
I had a similar problem with AMD 4400+ an year back. It was taking 2 - 3 mins to boot windows.
Initially I also cursed AMD and procy.
Try running Sumper Pi / Wprime etc and comparing results with other users. I think for you sys it should be some where b/w 22 - 27 for super Pi.
Then try running HD Tach to see harddisk read/write speeds.
In my case Sata Harddisk was running in Ide mode and afeter every few days it was switching to PIO mode.
Running Haddisk in AHCI mode solved it for me.
