guys.....where do you guys get the money to buy such sexy stuff......is there any TE outreach program.....???.....is there any job...where they p[ay you to be a tech enthusiast..??
 
saving is not a problem.....but the problem.,..is that once you've got a decent amount....there a million things you want to buy..!!...and then..you waste it all on the stupidest things....atleast in my case..
 
^^ that's where TE helps, you post your budget and requirements and get loads of helpful (nerdy) advice :)
 
well, you can never get the best cause new stuff keeps coming every day... so just save up and pray to god u get decent parts ;)
 
bizmark, count me in. i got the same problem... i checked out their rigs today. its killing! and these guys have lots and lots of HD and RAM and everything... very cool. :hap2:
 
If you think it is tough for you to get money out of your Dads... then you do not know anything ..... I am retired since the last 10 years and I have to get money from my kids.... and they are not Rich !!! ..... NOW you guys be honest and tell me how open would your hand be to pay for your Dads computer toys when you are the earning members in the house :tongue:

some take loans from family...

and some guys like Rave use a money minting machine...after college he goes into his attic and starts minting....

psst thats how he got that monitor of his...noone knows where he hides all that money :ohyeah:

Well most people here dont get paid for being a tech enthusiast....But some nerd got E6800 to test...

Ah, I've been trying my best to get him into Comps and tech stuff since I started earning.....

Gifted him a Fujitsu Lifebook for his B'day and a Nano on my Mom's :)

Not that I get to use them as they live over 2000 kms away, yet somehow Those purchases satisfy me more than the stuff I buy for myself :hap5:
 
i hate asking money from dad or mom... kind of makes me feel bad about myself :ashamed: but now my sis has started earning muhahaha siblings are a different category arent they ;) :devil2:

my father has got quite tech savvy lately.....but its not working out well....he gets all the cool stuff for his office.......thats like rubbing it in..!!!

the same way i felt..infact was plagued by the thought when i upgraded my ancient rig to the present one last month..

but now that i've got a job..:clap: ...i am waiting for the time when i can join..earn my own moolah...and get myself some of the uber stuff i can only drool on now..:ohyeah:

here my keyboard and mouse is rotting.. and there my mom gets uber cool wireless keybaord mouse set for her office.. doing a goverment job.. damN!!

but for me.. my parents give me money .. since i`m still studing.. and seriously .. i feel guilty now. when i have to ask em for a comp purchase.. precisely the reason why i dont have any upgraditis...

only asking them for stuff i really need.. like a printer.. and maybe sooon a keyboard and mouse.. lol..

infact i have been saving a lot of money for my parents.. not buying stuff... and only buying stuff which i need.. and buying for the future ;)... ya the cons of studing mgmt.. lol
