Hi ppl
This is my overclock results...I haven't changed the voltages kept the vcore at auto,Just the changed the FSB. to test the stability,i ran StressPrime 2004 ORTHOS for 2 hours without any errors. The SpeedFAN temperatures were around for Core#0 and #1 50-55 and for the CPU it was around 55-65 degree celsius while running stressprime.I'm using stok cooling with a 120mm FAN(PSU) and 80mm Rear FAN and a 120mm Front Fan.I haven't run any benchmarks yet...Will post the benchies soon.Any Improvements?
How do i make the FSB: DRAM Ratio 1:1?
Regards

PS:Any other soft for monitoring the CPU temp other than speedfan and core temp?

Congrats

very very nice results and temps for stock cooling with just 2 case fans..!! is the side panel of ur case open..? room airconditioned..? which case r u using..?

which mobo and RAM r u using? for running the RAM and FSB at 1:1, u wud have to bring down ur RAM clock or up ur FSB..

trying reducing the mem clock to 330 odd...also try tightening the RAM timings..

but, post more hardware info first..

Run the RAM at the same speed as FSB, and tighten the timings down.

Your not getting anymore performance by running it at 5:6 with such loose timings.

CPU clocks looking good!

@Basha
Updated my sig.Actually its raining here,So the temperatures are low.Side panel is closed,No AC..

How do i tighten the RAM timings?

With Nvidia chipset you dont loose too much performance even if you run the ram out of sync. TO start with it has better memory controller than Intel counterpart and memory performance is much better.

Try to get it @ 800Mhz (400Mhz DDR) 4-4-4-15 2T.

So just tighten timings as much as you can. You are already at 400Mhz.

5-6-6 is just plain too loose.

To get 4-4-4-12,i'll have to run the RAM at 266 and for getting the 1:1 ratio,i have to run the FSB at 266 right?

Anyways new overclock, ran OCCT for 2hrs and it was stable.Although sometimes my PC doesn't boot,it gets stuck before windows loads. But when i restart the PC it runs smoothly.Anything wrong?

Also do i have to change the command rate to 2T?

first of all you dont need to worry about the memory ratio on this board. Run it unlinked and set it to 400Mhz 5-5-5-15 @ 2.0v.

Then start going lower on memory timings. If you can get 400Mhz 4-4-4-15 stable, leave it at that. Thats sweet spot. You can always try to go more afterwards.

I'm running it as unlinked. Is it ok to increase the voltage to 2.0?Also i'm using 3 apps to monitor the temperatures-SpeedFAN,ntel Thermal Analysis Tool(Recognises my proccy as pentium M) and core temp. All show different temperatures...Intel's temp goes upto 65 degree celcius and speed FAN's max temp is around 58 deg cel...Which is showing the correct temp?

for some reason i have read enuf against tat hence dont believe its temp, in any case it doesnt run on my mobo, speedfan and coretemp are good, and will always show the same temp.

See the temperatures vary...Anyways do i change it from 1T to 2T?

Ya change from 1T to 2T and then try 444-15 @800 Mhz max 2.0V

^^ These are idle temps right?

Oh and bump the fsb a little more to 1333Mhz...

Yup its the temp on idle...Did u notice both the temperatures are different...Since i'm on Stock cooling on a good cabby with 80mm and 120mm(PSU) rear fans and one 120mm front fan for intake.I don't wanna overheat it...So just asking if my current overclock is good?or do i change it as u guys suggested(No offence but its new na..so don't wanna fry it)

Well, temps are pretty ok...

As far as I can figure, trust the core temp temps...

Some changes I'll recommend for overall cooler temps

1. Change memory voltage to 1.8V and memory at default speed and timings (atleast for now)

2. Change the vcore from default to say 1.4V and work downwards to min vcore required

3. Set the NB voltage to default for now...

Oh and what are the load temps like, they are more important...should not go above 65 at all...

Running it at 1333FSB with RAM @ 400MHz with 4-4-4-15 timings.memory volt@ 2.0V.FSB: DRAM ratio @ 5:6... Ran OCCT for 30min Stable...Do i test somemore?
