My mom has been admitted into the hospital and she needs blood!!! Pls Help.

Guys my mom has been admitted into the hospital because she was feeling very weak... Doctor said that she is feeling very weak because the amount of hemoglobin in her blood has become very low... The problem is that the doctor said that she requires blood from only a single person whoz blood group should be ab+, the weight of that person should be minimum 60kg, should not have any disease and must be a male... Any body here on TE has ab+ blood group and stays in mumbai and willing to donate blood for a good cause please PM me its urgent... :)

And people who can't help because they are located in a different city then please pray for my mom...

Pray that your mom recovers fast & is back healthy.
Hb will rise after Blood transfusions. Please take care afterwards by providing healthy/nutricious food & lots of rest.

Thanks gannu... i would try to contact them... i hope they can travel all the way from pune to mumbai to donate blood... :)

Doctor said that a healthy person usually has 1lakh 50 thousand pigments in blood my mom just has 3000 pigments in her blood... :( And doctor said that she requires 50ml blood only from a healthy person so that she can get those pigments back to become healthy again...

when are you needing the blood?? co-incidently i am coming to IIT-B on monday.. will try to make it early.. i would have come tomorrow itself, but just recovered from fever.. a week back.. still i will try n make it.. praying for early recovery of ur mom..
 
Don't worry. She will recover very soon. But, she will need to maintain healthy diet afterwards to maintain her hemoglobin levels, you will need to take care about it.
 
hades man its platelets not pigments. they range from 1.5 to 3 lakh in a normal human being. if it is infact platelets then u need a transfusion of platelets fast. . hope she gets well soon man.. keep us informed..
