My mom has been admitted into the hospital and she needs blood!!! Pls Help.

She is slowly slowly recovering but she is still in ICU... After getting some 30 to 50 thousand plateletes she is feeling a lil' better but she says that she is still feeling weakness...

Good to hear the platelet count is increasing.

The weakness will remain for quite a while even after the platelet count reaches to normal levels. Just tell your mom to take good rest for a week after discharge.

Guys my mom has been admitted into the hospital because she was feeling very weak... Doctor said that she is feeling very weak because the amount of hemoglobin in her blood has become very low... The problem is that the doctor said that she requires blood from only a single person whoz blood group should be ab+, the weight of that person should be minimum 60kg, should not have any disease and must be a male... Any body here on TE has ab+ blood group and stays in mumbai and willing to donate blood for a good cause please PM me its urgent...

And people who can't help because they are located in a different city then please pray for my mom...

Hades- called you but no reply. Just found out that one of my bosses is AB +ve.

There is a blood donation drive/camp underway at the moment as i post this. Our office has organised this in collaboration with Hiranandani hospital Powai. They better not act stingy now.

Hope your mum gets well soon. Please ask her to eat more and only rest for some weeks.

She is still not well, had PM'd hades yesterday. She is still in the ICU, platlet count still low. Doc is waiting for biopsy report before going for more treatment.
