And the Heatsink totally rocks must say have a look at the temps and the
fan rpm while i am priming.

BTWm the load temps in the Everest screenie.... at what speed is that??

But the temps are too high!!!1

44 deg C on stock volts with an XP-90 :S :S

Too much. Not installed properly... maybe too much or too less AS5. The load temps on stock volts should be more like 37-39
 
I know you are priming :P

But the temps are too high for stock volts.... that is what I meant.....
 
It aint high as the cpu is clocked higher [261HTT] its generating more heat.

With stock hsf while priming it used to touch 51~52 and 6K rpm at the same speed.
 
Yes it is the new amd heatsink, quady did you get dual core or what, how come & from where the new heatsink ;)
 
Ok guys u got it correct it a Dual Core Opty 165's Heat Sink.

Much better than a XP90 with a TT SB led 92mm.
Its temp. with me for a week as my XP90 and TT fan were at his cousins
place.

So he will collect the XP90 & the TT Fan from his cousin this week and will
take this Opty HSF from me.

Must Say all the ppl u got this HSF dont need to invest in a new HSF the
stock AMD hsf for DC opty rocks totally.
 
Ill be getting that soon.

Will be selling my XP-90 with the TT Smart Blue LED Fan 92mm. As you said. Lol.

And yes, now that you've got CCFLs would be wise to mod your side-panel to a transparent one.
 
Eddy this AMD's Opty is not going to stay with me forever i have to return it
to funky as he wants it back.

Its with me for some time until he gets my xp90 from his cousin home.
The package having xp90 was shifted to his cousins house and his cousin
is out of town it seems.

So i will have to return this beautiful opty hsf to funky :(

But hope XP90 helps me keep my temps lower to the same level as this does.

And also the led fan will add more light to my cabby.

currently my cpu is at 270HTT @ 1.392 Vcore priming it and the temps max at 43~46 on full load.

will experiment more andd keep updating u guys.

also the fan is quiet at 3k plus rpm.
