You dont get any headphones with the Nokia N73 Music Edition

@aka911 and IceFusion:

Guys, so is the N73 ME worth it??considering the issue of the music app running continously??or will that be solved with the next firmware release (hopefully?).

The N73ME is well worth it.. i can say so since i got a price quote of Rs23,850 inclusive of VAT with bill and warranty.. the N73 is for 22,200.. so for a diff of 1650 u get a 2 gb card, 3.5 mm adaptor.. which is well worth it. I heard tht ther r no problems with the N73 ME at all.

Will be buyin mine in another couple of days..

Also apart from 2gb, 3.5 mm adaptor and the black colour, i heard that ther is an option called stereo or something that makes the loudspeaker a lil better and louder.

Lastly.. there is a solution to the music player runnin in the background.. u can close it by doing the following :

Open Music Player

Options

Equaliser

Options

Exit

If you press and hold the Menu key you will see that the Music Player is now closed.

And ya.. as Icefusion said.. Its not adviceable to flash the N73 to N73ME firmware coz from wht i have heard, u wont be able to flash back to the N73 firmware once u flash it to N73ME firmware.. so warranty might b void if u do so.. im not sure abt the warranty part but make sure u find out bfore u actually flash it.. thts if u want to flash it.

I have to say it is a great price for a great phone. . But don't you think that the stock 73 looks better then the music edition. . Esp. In pictures. . Oh and that n91 black looks fab . Let vs hope it is priced less then 25. . :)
 
aka911, well.. even i used to think tht the stock n73 looked better.. but after lookin at the live pics of the music edition, i changed my mind.. check out the link in my above post for the live pics.. who knws mayb even ull change ur mind ;)
 
nah.. i saw both the stock and music edition together, and stock looks much better, the ME has now got a plastic toy look to it... and as Goku said, the workaround is now available....

N73 costs have fallen ,its smwhere around 21k now, and ME is around 24k.. which is almost the same price as getting a 2gb card and AD41 seperate for the stock N73:P
 
Now guys tell me which is better.

Stock N73+2 Gig Card(if it is found)+2.5mm adapter

or the N73ME??

Need to make a decision soon so looking forward to ur replies :).

N73ME looks much better than the LG Dynamite IMHO :D.

Its 25.2K. Mumbai thats the quote I got from a dealer in Thane...
And hunt3r...Symbian vs that W810i...forget that...IMO just that makes up for the 12K price hike...and I'm discounting the screen and the camera from the equation :P

Woah!!.. thts way too costly vandal.. i spoke to a dealer even today coz i was planning to buy it today if possible and he quoted 23,800 inclusive of tax and with bill and warranty.

Does the N73 ME come with the headphones shown in the pic? Also is it a 1 GB memory card??

I also think that n73 me is better value then stock n73. . Another factor might be that the 2 gb card you get in box will be original . . So less chances of corrupted data . :). . Does anyone know if the camera is exactly same as stock n73 or not. .

Camera's identical. We had got one for testing...
 
What abt the Sound quality ??Same in N73ME and N73??

Although there was a thread in HOFO abt the same and they said there wasnt any difference in sound since the hardware was the same, but would like to hear the opinions of our TE Gurus :).
 
n73 prices have sposed 2 have come down to 20,500 but most places r still selling at 22,500 weird

n73 ME i was gettin for 23.500 shop=T-10 at andheri stn Mumbai

planning on gettin one of these too, lets see how things go
