Common man has a family and job to attend to, they cant afford to waste their time/energy and hence they never protest nor care/trust anyone. Only in the movies the so called "Common man" aka "The jobless & the useless" would do such a thing called protesting for what ? They dont know either. Once the delusion wears out, they all will disperse.

Even today with the average age being so young and work hours being so long, our GDP is still no where near to that of China.

In 25- 30 years, the few young people that work, would have to work really long hours than ever just to support their families. I can totally think a future where everything is so hard to get, that people will be working to their deaths.

These holidays we have are only reprieve we get from hard work to cherish our life in desperate struggle of survival. And this killjoy want remove that too.
May be govt. employees and all those privileged class should not take holidays, leave common man away from these kind of antics.

These CEOs are just pushing their agenda. Gen Z is not interested in working under boss, in office, let alone working for 70-90 hours in week. Look at the UP/Bihar, people at 30 holding Btech/MBA ready to work for Chaprasi job. I've witnessed many students who are exploring new source of income like stock market, social media influencer, remote office work.

I can sense the day isn't too far when someday a frustrating employee might start taking suparis of such management people which will give rise to a new saga in Indian corporate envi. Post a few murders and kidnaps etc. nobody will dare to utter such shit for years to come. A new corporate mafia will rise just like those union leaders to take care of such nonsensical ars-h-les!

I remember a few months ago Deepinder caused a stir on social media by visiting a mall and blaming malls for not allowing delivery personnel inside life. Indian startups are blood suckers and works only because of cheap labour (population). There is nothing revolution at all.

Wow, so with your details I found the news : https://hr.economictimes.indiatimes...r-performance-at-work-nagpur-police/107994641

Even the "manager" was 21 years old ! At that age I wouldn't trust a guy to wash their underwear properly ( of course some are better than others ) . What were the middle management thinking? Unless someone had worked in a field for at least 5 years, getting them to manage others is just extreme irresponsible behaviour from middle management.

A certain humility comes from experience : after having inevitably made mistakes, blamed for others' mistakes, pressure making judgement bad etc. Only then we can manage someone else.

Yup, this was the one.

That is the story told being to the media. My colleague who was in hexa previously, on inquiring with his friends, found out that the manager humiliated the reportee in front of everyone. Not once, twice, but almost everyday. This had to come out one day or the other, in any form whatsoever. Can't keep it bottled in forever.

The last thing any human wants is dehumanisation. Once that happens, he doesn't care about the consequences.

This is just once of the instance. There are multiple cases where the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, aka upper management.
Just yesterday, there was a call with them and those baboons sitting in US don't even knew the ground realities. They just want results. Asking questions as to why were they hired in the first place.

You cannot expect new hirees to learn 1 entire year's of experience in a month.

Pressurize them and the results are there to see!!

There's a difference between realistic expectations and fairyland. Our culture, working ethos, glorifies violence, right from beating the shit out of our kids to personal insults thinking that violence, insults is the solutions for all the problems. All forgettting that Man is a social animal.

My friend was fired for asking his right to dinner break.
