^^And let their work burden be done taken over by some already overloaded bloke with gets a pittance for it and another bloke who is more qualified to do the job is jobless while the sportsperson is doing his training or acting in ads or whatever and making money in other ways. Most of them don't actually need those jobs, but they still get them.
in this highly populous country there are always people more highly qualified waiting for any work. you cant please anyone. even for the sweeper posts in govt the min qualification is around 10th but you see graduates.
no one can dream of getting into the top 5-10 without any training. dont tell me you expect people to get gold or silver just by going into the field straight from work. oh wait then they'll have to bunk work.
and not all sports persons gets into ads. only the top (from cricket) get it. the rest of them if they dont have any job support system (which you are against) will either have to leave sports entirely and compete for jobs as a normal person would, or die of starvation.
The question is why should they get special privileges in anything other than sports? If they bunked school/college for sports why should they still get reservations in education and jobs while someone who worked hard for it is left in the soup. Let the govt sponsor their training costs or whatever directly rather than sacrifice some other bloke. Also I am not talking about private jobs, I am talking about the govt jobs getting which is a life and death question for some people.
from when did a govt job become a life and death question? i thought people went for a govt job just for the sake of a plush 9-4 job and to extra in form of commissions. even for getting into the lowest scale in a govt job, the person needs to shell out money.
reserving 3-5 seats out of 200/400 is bad? there are too many people here and too many seats. someone or another will always be left out no matter how hard he worked.
without bunking classes or anything how do you expect them to take part in tournaments? tournaments are not held in night or on holidays. they are held according to the sponsors wishes and the committee hosting it.
and even if the sports person didnt get any privileges, it wouldn't change anything. people who want to shove their work on other will do that always. the overworked bloke will always be there in any govt institution.
and not all sports people get training. i've heard of people spending their own money to get equipment and training from abroad. the govt doesn't even bother getting good trainers here. its just the old sports persons who won one or two medals training the newbies. (and this is the only sort of jobs these people get after their career comes to an end. no ads, nothing).
