help ! i am confused like hell!iam going to buy a pc this monday!my latest decided config. AMD 64 2800 ,mobo-asus k8n,hard drive, segate barracuda-80 gb,memory -512 mb zion, intex ups, logitech mouse, keyboard etc etc .Well what i am really confused is in agp cards(no prizes for guessing this). What i ask,no beg u to do(this is the last time, i hope),puhleeeez, suggest me with nvidia cards(these people don't keep ati cards),at or below 8K .I want it for playing doom 3,HL2 FARcry etc. pleeeees do reply me.thank u.

well, u people must have been frustrated answering people like me.sorry but another question ,could u people tell me any site which tells prices(in rupees) about agp cards?

Lets see AGP cards under 8k from Nvidia:
XFX 6200 256mb (downside based on NV44a ,64-bit and not much better than NV36/RV350,upside:good shader perf.)
FX 5700LE 256mb(downside:dismal shader performance in DX9 in some games, upside:high oc'ability,128-bit memory interface)
Thats pretty much it.
It seems AGP is not going to provide VFM video cards anymore.Coz PCI-E cards like 6600 128mb are available for just 7k.
And btw don't buy ATi -it plain sucks.Once u use digital vibrance on an nv card ,u wont go back to an ati, ever.
The "proud" 9800s keep blowing all over this forum.
