Cowon D2 is the same apart from memory sizes, Samsung P2 4gb was for 12k, but doesn't come with a memory slot...

your right. just add Rs.500 extra to those prices and you get the prices of Alfa. Though he didnt have the 8gb ones in stock. Just the 4 and 16 gb's.

Wanted to ask those of you who own the D2. Where do you get a good carry case for this? I only found some good cases. One (a leather case - Rs1300/-) which cowon sells and the others by JavoEdge (leather too but with a screen guard and pouch for two sd cards for around $20).

what do you guys suggest? i need to protect the D2 from the train rush mostly, so i need something rugged.

Let me put it this, way. With half of all the features mentioned, a shitty screen implementation + a moronic GUI but a lil addition called a "dial pad" and suddenly the device is worth 20k !!
