OC & Modding Need Black & Decker or Dremel

if u get it I would be interested too....

But I have local chinese dremel tool (KMD) and it performs pretty good for a 1.5k....would have shown u my CM 690 cut but I am keeping under wraps until finished.....

I have seen Dremel original in H/W shop for 6k.....

Main problem is getting the cutting blades... I am on my last blade and now an dreading what to do next.....

Thats why i am inclined on Black and decker. Its twice the power of dremel plus it accepts standard tools :hap2: bits like drilling, burring etc. 6k is way too much as now the price of dremel , B&D is $30

Well it won't accept ordinary blades.... all dremel kits accept standard blades.....thats why u can use a Dremel blades in B&D and even the chinese one.....

Also Dremel kits do fry up.... i wouldn't import a dremel kit and have it fry up on me.....

Do one thing search black and decker website....get the contacts in india....and contact them directly...

Warning:n00b intervention regretted::)

Are you guys discussing forging tools? If yes then there are some nice ones available locally too. The drills and other tools from BnD, DeWalt, bosch etc are available locally, check ur towns' h/w pockets.

Heard dremel getting fried up if you put pressure. Thats why i am looking for 2 amp version of B&D as compared to 1 Amp for dremel. If you want to cut wood or plastic dont worry there is tin can mod available in youtube. You can use your dalda dabba as cutting discs

Thats for heavy duty work. This is a portable rotary tool spins at 35000 rpm :eek:hyeah: used to make fine cuts on woods, metals but the discs will wear faster than you imagine

Well I cut up my Coolermaster side panels(steel i suppose) with my local 1.5k dremel..... :bleh:.....

will send u pics if u want too.....

Anyway I will try to find a Black and decker.... talking to h/w dealers is a PITA...
They won't understand unless u tell the local name....:bleh:.....

Yes do send me the pics you have cut through. What about chinese wheels availability like re-inforced diamond wheels, TC wheels etc. how much will it cost

Cool price esp from germany. How about the cutting discs replacement. can you able to find here

Well i need cuttings blades, anyone who can source them to me.... PM me plz....

I don't need the dremel kit for now....

Really cool dremel work, that!

Some time back, Metro in Hyderabad had a dremel on sale
for Rs 2500, and I missed getting it then. There is no
sale pricing now, but it's still available - I think around Rs 3500.
I also need to buy a dremel or clone soon, but don't want to
pay the big price for real dremel.

I am told the best cutting wheels are Gyros
