PC Peripherals need help buying stuff in bangalore

Trying to buy a 22" LCD, Corsair PSU, and a HD4850 for my new rig, but need some help! -

1. I am unable to locate the LG 226WTQ here , it seems to be out of stock wherever i have checked, all i can find is that W2242S model with no DVI!

Can someone please tell me if the 226WTQ is still available in Bangalore, and where i can buy it?

OR

If it is no longer available which 22" can i actually buy here? Budget is 12-13k for this, worst case i am willing to buy the DELL 22" E228WFP but that is my last option

2. Was looking for a hx620 but my dealer saying they only have tx650 @5900+4% , they also claim that they dont have any stock of the vx450 , where can i find any of these PSUs at good prices?

3. If i buy a HD4850 online (lots of great deals on Lynx/ITwares/Techshop ) will i have any trouble claiming warranty in Bangalore? or can i get better deals buying the card locally from dealer/distributor here? (I have no idea about how the RMA process works for graphics cards :ashamed: , so please educate me! )

Any card u get online in India have a bill so, u can claim warranty at authorized service centres all over India.
So, stay cool and get the 4850 from the online store u like...

u can order online thru KMD na .. and y not go for DEll 22" gray to white 2ms.

LG 226WTQ is a discontinued model. Only chance is in Croma/Reliance Digital. Do check out if any left out stock is there. Otherwise get the Samsung 226BW from Croma

As of the HD 4850, getting it from Amarbir makes more sense for its lower shipped price. Gecube HD 4850 sells for arnd 10.7k or so all incl in Blore.

As of the mobo, get the P5Q-E if possible for the P5Q-Pro.Both r easily available locally for 8.5k+ & 9.7k + resp.

As of the PSU, TX 650 is also as good as HX 620 so nthing ot worry as long as u dnt care much abt modularity

And it doesn't matter where you buy from as anyway you have to contact the company RMA/service center directly for any issues

One last thing- The Q6600 seems to be at about 8.5k now, is it worth going for that? I was initially planning on a e7200 or a e8400 if i could squeeze it into my budget.

I would do some moderate overclocking on stock for any of these processors, and then spend on better cooling a few months down the line!

2. The best deal for a 4850 card so far is the Sapphire 4850 @10,500/- shipped from Lynx. Shall i go for that? Any opinions on Sapphire local warranty/service?

3.I checked out most of the differences between the P5Q-Pro and the P5Q-E but i am still a little unsure. Can you please tell me the main advantages of the E over the Pro?

4.Got a quote for CM 690 @4100, would that include the transparent panel?

Check with Amarbir on how Sapphire warranty work. ie whether there is any service centre/distri in Blore or if u need to ship it directly to him

Palit should be a bit cheaper than this, also their RMA seems to be good as per few users on TE. you can also check it out.
