PC Peripherals Need some feedback on E2220HD

Hi. I'm in the process of getting a full HD monitor for my cousin. I was lookin at the E2220HD. Here's a review of it

It seems like a pretty good monitor.
1. In the cons section, he says hdmi shouldn't be used when playing 1080i. Has he said that because it gets a bit blurry?
2. If anyone here owns this monitor or has seen it, Is there any sort of ghosting in it? Thanks in advance.
 
Using this monitor from around 10 months, working very well.

Reason behind this, this monitor is 1080p not 1080i.

@aryanraj: Yeah, I did understand it. But why has he mentioned HDMI specifically?

I hadn't seen any other reviewer mention it. Does it work well if DVI is used? Also, almost all the HDTVs and monitors display 1080 in progressive mode. But why does this monitor get that as a con in particular?

Have you used it with any DTH TV boxes?
