I wanna setup a wlan connection for 5 floors.
it'll consist mainly of 2 laptops, one pc and a all in one printer.
so i need a router+modem and a wireless adaptor of pc, a print server and a all in one printer.
Only the pc and the laptops should be able to access the printer.
I can have:-
1. A router cum modem, a wireless printer.
2. A router cum modem, print server and a printer.

TheITWares -Belkin F5D8635sa4A N+ Modem Router - TheITWares

is this available in india?
F7D3302 Belkin Share Wireless Router

Yeah , i think a repeater is a must. I can get a signal across 2 floors but it starts dropping drastically after that. And 5 floors would be a stretch imo.

You could also look at the Linksys WRT610N. It has a USB port. If you flash your router with DD-WRT, you can use the port to connect a printer which can be shared across the network.

Linksys WRT610N is priced about 9k, it doesn't have modem

i have chosen Belkin N+ Modem Router

it had modem and usb slot and is priced 5500, its not dual band, but i guess dual band is not a big advantage as we don't have cordless phones or any other 2.4Ghz device to cause intreference.

and i also have decided to get a wireless printer(PIXMA MP568) instead as it won't be bound by the router.

so now i need a repeater.

Guys i have linksys WRT54GC compact g-router.

can i use it to extend the signal of Belkin N+ it is a n/g router?

if yes how(what settings must i do)?
