CPU/Mobo need sugestion for my current system config

i applied Cooler master HTK 002

but the problem still persists , temperature has gone down by 3 deg and it does not get heat quickly like previously what used to happen

today when i was playing The elder scroll 5,i found that only 31 mb of memory left on my 2gb ram

and also when i played call of duty MW 3 there was 0 mb left in the ram

this at normal load with firefox

can this be a problem

so should i buy 2gb stick or 4 gb stick

^^ #gunjan.singh548 how many applications are running in the background, use a software like CCleaner, clear up all your .temp files, incomplete / broken registry files. And then terminate any unnecessary applications that begin at the boot up.

Then see the difference, if it still doesn't help you have a virus OR rootkit infecting your system, Sire. Format your system completely and reinstall OS.

And is your system slow in both the OS's that you've installed, what is the size of your hard drive, what are the partitions [size].

When was the last time your drive was fully de-fragmented.

i think the psu is wrongly placed it should be up side down i.e the psu fan should be facing down..

hopefully this should help..
 
^^ Who is selling this to you, I think instead of investing in a cooler [you'll not be able to exploit it as their is negligible airflow in your cabinet].

You'll be better off trying to improve the wire situation in your cabinet and setting up an actual airflow [by cutting / drilling out points for mounting fans].

This is my say, rest is up to you Sire.
 
^^ Drill holes and create cut-outs do a basic mod on your cabinet is what I will suggest, let other members advise because my route is very radical + might not be a sure-shot fix [your parents will not like this, I can vouch for it].

So patience, don't just add coolers and other peripherals before looking through and through whether they will be really helping your position.

Don't type the name in bold,#jakob would be enough,In the above asus link go to download section and select os,download bios and bios utility from it.Install the utility and select the downloaded bios and flash the bios.

Same DABBA iball, 2gb ddr2, q8200 stock and 8600gt

mine has better processor while yours has a better GFX

I too faced problems of high temps, though not severe as yours as I could play Skyrim at around 22fps while having high temps that too 99C with 100% CPU load. Even I amazed that how could the processor go on at such high temps. The temps were cyclying through the cores between 95 and 99C. I only have a single working fan 80 mm one that came with the cabby at the back.

Then I got a tube of Arctic Mx2 from Prime @450 and my temps are in high 60s while playing Skyrim with 30 fps at medium settings with CPU load of around 60%.

I advise you to:

CLEAN your cabby of all the DUST.

Properly apply the thermal paste.

Scan your system with a good AV BEST will be to just FORMAT it. I'd recommend you to format since a full system scan can take anywhere like 2~3 hours depending upon the capacity you have, while if format it will hardly take 45 min including reinstalling all the necessary apps like VLC, Office, etc

I also see that you have your cabinet tucked in too deep, give it some open breathing space.
