Need suggestions - course in CDAC or go for job

Hello Sir i m Anirudh . i m planning to join CDAC. Can u assist me about the faculty and the job opportunity after doing it.Is it worthy to give 6 months of course as well as money bcoz both matter for me. kindly give your important suggestion.i will wait for your reply.Thank u.
I got cdac Sunbeam Pune for DAC Course. Is doing cdac from affiliated center affects in placements?
 
Pune has Commom Campus Placements so, there won't be any disadvantage.
Sunbeam is a very good institute. If you are ready to take sanyaas and focus only on studies it's worth it.
If you have 60+ in 10th 12th and Btech, you will get lots of opportunities

thank you sir for your response..!! i have 70+ in 10th 12th and BE. also i want to know how is your experience doing cdac...and what sort of preparation i should do before commencing the course..?
 
You should try to do C C++(Opps Concepts) and data structures before commencement of course.
If you are passionate and ready to work hard, you will enjoy course.
My advice is just to keep a clear head. DONT miss any class. Keep on writing even if you don't understand. Try to do it in lab, then home and you WILL get it
Remember it's called commando course :p
 
thanks again,,:) i have a sort of bad habit of procrastinate alot in my engineering upto now ..your words of sanyas, commondo course makes me filled wid thrill...realized that i hav to make lots of parivartan in me to cope up wid the course.
 
CDAC sure is tough. I remember we used to have classes from 8 in the morning to 6 in the evening and then we used to stay in the LABs till 12-3AM. This thing got repeated for 6 months, without any break. I lost 10Kg of body weight but gained loads of knowledge. But as they say, all is well that ends well. The investment was worth every second/penny spent. Would highly recommend.

Food is the main reason I am staying a bit far away from the institute. I am staying with a few of my college mates just so that they can keep me sane :P
 
hello everyone....i got PG-DESD in cdac hyd...nd i dont have a good knowledge in C programming and microprocessor..bt i ll work hard in cdac...so cn i cope up with cdac's style of teaching??...they vl teach us from basics of every module???..plzz reply

Join groups of CDAC Hyderabad on Facebook. Ask the seniors there. They will be able to help you a lot in this regard.
 
PROs :
  • Better then B.Tech.
  • ObviouslY YOU will have a better understandinG oF OS (LINUX/WINDOWs), C & C++
  • YOU will come to know about a lot of new terms so, later YOU can exPlore on Your own, which is rather a touGh Part for most PeoPle.
CONs :
  • The course isn't even worth 30K.
  • OnlY verY few faculties are awesome, so most of the time YOU will be Just Time PassinG.
  • End modules( WINDOWs-Most Part, ANDROID, Parallel ComPutinG ) are Just Time Pass.
  • YOU will be finishinG the whole ANDROID in 1 WeeK :D
  • And If YOU think the PROJECTs will be verY niCe, then YOU are comPletelY wronG. B.Tech ProJects are Better.

For the Placements, I don't know. Still a Part of DSSD.
 
:nailbiting::nailbiting:..sum1 plzzz help me...according to my rank I kept CDAC,Kolkata as the 1st preference....but now evr1 is telling dat cdac kolkata is the worst...u shud hv selected others as 1st pref...now what....will I not get any placement after studying frm cdac,kolkata ?

As far as I know, CDAC Kolkata students get to attend centralized counselling along with CDAC bangalore, CDAC Chennai students. But ask someone (on facebook) who has studied in CDAC Kolkata last year.

Got CDac pune for batch feb-2015 for DAC. what i m worried about is where to stay.? Cdac pune doesnt have hostel & I am from delhi & never been to pune. before

please help me by suggesting where i could stay.?
